Cyrus Sethna
Cyrus Sethna is a Qualified Handgun Instructor in the State of Maryland. Credentialed through the U.S. Concealed Carry Association and recognized by the Maryland State Police, he strives to educate Marylanders interested in exercising their second amendment rights.
Prior to becoming a firearms instructor, Cyrus taught physical self-defense skills as part of a training program for survivors of violence and trained as a rescue scuba diver.
He currently serves as a Reserve Officer with the Metropolitan Police Department of Washington, DC where he graduated valedictorian of his police academy class and received an outstanding achievement award in firearms proficiency. In 2023 Cyrus was named Reserve Officer of the Year for the Third District, and was awarded a Life Saving Medal for actions taken in the line of duty by the Chief of Police in 2024.
He lives in Montgomery County, MD with his family.
